A great spoken work performance by Tricky helps to celebrate GQ’s and All Saints: create Britain Basement Session. The otherworldly sprechgesang delivery stands in stark contrast to the braggadocio style of most other rap artists. AllSaints Basement Sessions and GQ talk to the Bristolian icon about coming up with The Wild Bunch, becoming so famous so quickly, the artistic process and his exciting upcoming collaboration with Massive Attack.
INXS released their new album of old material. The band teamed up with various musicians to create new sounds from some of their hits. Tricky’s super-sexy, dark ‘Mediate’ reached No. 5 on the Billboard Dance Charts.
As many of you may know – Tricky’s show on Saturday 28th May 2011 at the Teatro Estudio Cavaret, Guadalajara, Mexico has been canceled due to illness.
Last night Tricky was taken from the gig to hospital by paramedics after suffering from exhaustion due to his grueling tour schedule. He isn’t cleared to play a gig until Sunday, and therefore cannot play on Saturday but will STILL be performing at the Mexico City gig on 29th May 2011.
Tricky could have made the decision to cancel all the remaining obligations but has decided to honour the remaining Mexico City gig – thank you all for your understanding. Tricky sends his personal regrets and thanks everyone for all their support.

This month, the Bristol legend is bringing his visceral live show back to Australia. With Tricky proving an elusive character to track down for a one-on-one, inthemix decided to take matters into our own hands and present a rough guide to the enigma that is Tricky, from the music to the movies.
After successfully touring UK, Europe, America and Canada at the end of last year Tricky is currently touring Australia, highlights include the Playground Weekender in Sydney, at which he will be headlining with fellow Brits, The Doves.
